Sylvia Li

Sylvia is an immigrant from China currently living in British Columbia. She holds a degree in fashion design, has 11 years of experience in human resource management for Fortune 500 companies, and is a certified E-RYT 200 yoga teacher who taught in China.

She has a wide range of interests and is passionate and caring. She advocates for multiculturalism and humanistic care and is actively involved in schools, school boards, libraries, and community volunteering. She continues to work hard to learn, grow, and clarify her career goals.

Sylvia currently teaches yoga and volunteers at an adult day centre. She hopes to help more people through her compassion and diverse skill set. She is excited and proud to be a member of the Immigration Advisory Group and to support migrants as they integrate into their new lives.
